[NFB-Blind-Crafters] crochet and Stream 3?

Is it just my Stream? Or is it almost impossible to follow a crochet 
pattern on the Stream 3? I have to go back and forth, reading and 
rereading the instructions for particular lines and rounds. My Stream 
locks up and eventually has to restart. There are lots of good crochet 
books available from Bookshare. How do the rest of you work the patterns?
