Hi Mesha.
That's an interesting question. I get Bookshare craft books in braille and read them on my NLS braille eReader. I've never tried following directions in an audio book, because I think it would be hard to do for the reasons you give.
Could you make the Stream read line by line, or even word by word? I know word by word is an option on the Stream.
I know there are people who use audio for crafting. What do you folks do?
Tracy

Hi everyone, this is MESHA for my crochet patterns. I like to use YouTube because a lot of of the people who do the crochet patterns. Explain what they’re doing as they’re doing it. I have thermoform paper so if I’d like a pattern, I’ll write it down myself and read it that way. I just got book chair so I’m excited to see different crochet patterns there as well.

My Stream locks up and eventually has to restart. There are lots of good crochet books available from Bookshare. How do the rest of you work the patterns?
