[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Purl through back loop

Henry, the only link I see is the one Dixie sent for purl through the back loop. That link worked fine for me, but Dixie’s method sounds easier than the one the link describes.

Good Morning Cindy and Tracy, I can’t get the previous link on how to do this stitch to open. How do you do it in the American or Englis method please?

Could or would you please put it in the body of an E Mail?

Thanks!

Henry

Thanks Cindy. This is good to know, too.

I am a continental knitter and I do not "wrap" the yarn, instead the yarn is held taught and the right needle reaches and grabs/or scoops the yarn.

While I try to avoid pfb when writing patterns, the current one I am making has them and I am finally comfortable with them.

purl the first leg, now, move the working yarn behind the needle and behind the back leg of the stitch. Bring your right needle tip in front of that back leg and scoop or grab the working yarn and pull it through and then pull that back leg off the left needle.

I know how to knit through the back loop, but can anyone explain to me how to purl through back loop? I’ve tried, but I can’t figure it out. Or is it too complicated to explain, and I need to get someone to show me? I know a very good knitter, but she’s not so good at explaining patiently.
