[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Knit-along

Sonia, that sounds right, top to bottom to tink a purl slip stitch. Or is
that lrup, not tink?

To tell the truth, I slip the stitches back in any way that seems not to
twist them.

I was sure it was today! My mistake.

May I ask a basic question? I have difficulties sometimes tinking slipped
stitch.

So to tink a slipped stitch I insert my left needle in the front of the
slipped stitch, from bottom to top, then slipt it back on the left needle.

To tink a purlwise slipped stitch, how do I insert the left needle? At the
back of the slipped stitch, top to bottom?

Thank you in advance. :) And yeah, just like I did with ribbing, I'm sure
I'll get the hang of it. Hopefully before march 14 hehe

Hi Sonia.

Just to remind everyone, our next knit-along meeting is next Saturday, 3/14,
at 11:00 AM Eastern.

The pattern is a lot like ribbing in the slip-stitch rows. I'm sure you'll
get it. Sometimes I knit or purl where I should slip, but then I catch
myself and undo the stitch and get back on track. So you're not alone.

Hi Tracy,

I wish I could knit during certain work meetings, but we have to keep our
cameras open so no luck there! ;)

I had to start all over again, but I'm not giving up! Reminds me a bit of
when I learned one by one ribbing. In the way the constant changes from
front to back to front again would throw me off. But eventually, after a lot
of frogging, it clicked for my fingers. So I know it will for this pattern
too.

Looking forward to tomorrow,

Sonya

I've had a lot of meetings this week, so I've made good progress on our
knit-along cowl. It's curling on the edges a bit, but it still is coming
out nice. Hope others are doing well with it, too.

Tracy
