[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Ideas

I have not seen any ACB recordings for a very long time, so I don’t totally understand Courtney’s message. There is always the problem that sometimes classes are at times when people have conflicts and I have missed many I would like to attend because of this. I wish there were a solution for this because I think as often as not non-attendance is because of life’s responsibilities. I would propose that people contribute a small amount per month to help maintain recordings of classes/patterns/stitches. I do very much like that we can go to the groups.io but I have never successfully found the ACB crafters patterns on that and never received directions that actually made sense to me as to how to find them. So perhaps if NFB crafters did something similar to that it would solve part of the problem.
Just some thoughts.

It is good to record the class if people will use it. I think the patterns should be send out as well.

Something we do at ACB Crafters is if no one shows up for the class, the class doesn’t happen and then there is no recording.
In my opinion for NFB Crafters, if crafters don’t make an effort to show up, then why should an instructor make any effort to teach the class? Now if the instructor chooses to teach to an empty Zoom room, that would be a decision you and the instructor would need to make. But at ACB, the class doesn’t happen if there are no participants.
