[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Pictures of projects

Tracy,

While plenty of people take pictures of their projects, especially
people active on social media, the talk was specifically for test
knitters. I missed that one.

A test knitter forms a contract with the designer. The designer
specifies what they need from the test knitter. If they want pictures
from you, that will be specified before you ever receive the pattern.
They will also tell you if they need specific pictures. There are ways
for a blind person to take pictures. However, if you are contracted to
provide specific pictures and you know that you are not skilled at
taking pictures, then you would need to get someone to take those
pictures for you. When I say you are contracted as a test knitter, this
does not necessarily mean you are paid. It varies with the designer on
what they can provide but the key is that the contract is an agreement
between you and the designer and what you will provide to them.
