Wow Jolene, I am amazed by how you are incorporating all those different materials into this German Shepard project! It sounds so cool!
How big is it going to be?
Happy crafting!
Sarah

the tactile german shepherd is a multimedia project which is slated to be donated to the seeing eye as a display piece. it is made of foam core board, wood, duct tape, various types of clay, a glass bead, fake fur, leather, some chain and metal jewelry findings, and some plastic and possibly another type of fabric.
this project combines a lot of my skills such as sculpting, painting, leather work, sewing, and jewelry making. i am about a third of the way done. right now it is the skeleton of the dog which will be felt under the fur covering. she will wear a harness and leash.
it is the most detailed art project i have done since losing my eyesight 20 years ago.

You have to backup the site to an offline location, buy the new domain, possibly need a new hosting plan depending on where it is located now, and upload the site to the new host and make sure it has all your dns pointing to the new location.

This week, with Dixie’s and Cathy Flescher’s help, I successfully paid for our website. It was much harder than we imagined, because we had to reset everything to go to me instead of Cathy, which took some teamwork. But it’s done and now we have krafterskorner.org <http://krafterskorner.org> for another year. It didn’t cost much, either. We also made Dixie a second administrator for the website.
We want to work out how to have a website named BlindCraftersGroup without losing the pages we have now, but we have time to figure that out.
Woohoo! Yay team!
Tracy
