It had a curse on it for a while, and I had to rip it back a few times, but I was able to cleanse it from the curse, and now it’s done! I won’t be able to wear it for months yet, which is a drag, but it’s ready when the weather warms up. It has a lace pattern called Feather Pattern on the straps, around the neck, and around the bottom. The lace really does look like feathers, and it’s really easy, only 2 rows, one of which is plain knit. It’s in the lace section of A Treasury of Knitting Patterns, available on Bard.

I also remembered that winter is a great time to organize, so my husband and I went through our mail basket, which has been accumulating “important” stuff for years, and put away the important stuff and tossed the rest into the recycle bin. It’s amazing to have a clean mail basket.

Tracy
