Ive been playing in my mind with the idea of knitting Braille but have no idea how to do it.</div>

Im going to take a note of this for sure. Do either of you have a pattern for knitting Braille or print letters? </div>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Tracy, you probably do not want the Braille to show on both sides. Backwards Braille may be insulting. Trust me a lot of folks have no idea right side and wrong side. I have a guy who likes the wrong side
of a knitted afghan I made him and his wife. She flips the afghan to the right side. Maybe he just likes advertising my business, grin.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I figured out a good way to knit braille, using tiny bobbles.
</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">In a stockinette piece, where you want a dot, knit 3 stitches into 1 stitch by doing knit, yarn over, knit, then slip those 3 stitches back to the left needle and knit them together through the back loop.
Gently pull the bobble tight. It makes a nice little round dot on both sides of the fabric, but neater on the purl side. Then purl the next row, as usual in stockinette.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Im making a throw for a blind friend, and she wants the logo of the theater where she wants to use it on the throw. Ive got the print letters, and I thought it would be neat to put braille letters, too.
They came out nice, too.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Now I can put braille on anything I want. I could even sign my work, or put my friends name on it. Woo-hoo!</span></p>
