I have a new granddaughter, born on 10/09/25. We were on our way back from Virginia, attending my brother’s celebration of life and I got the news. Anahi Jiselle was born, weighing 6 lbs., 3 oz. and is 18.5 inches long. They barely made it to the hospital and that little baby was born! The nurse and doctor hadn’t even got into the room yet, when my son had to yell into the hall that the baby was coming! When the nurse came down the hall, sure enough, she was making her entrance into this world! I did it once, then realized it was really too short, so I pulled it out. I did it again, then thought I’d picked up the stitches on the wrong side and pulled it out and did it again picking up on the other side, only to realize I was right the first time and pull that out. Now I’ve picked up stitches for the band again. I’m on the right side, and I have the right number of stitches.
