I think you could do a good job using just a tape measure and a handful of straight pins.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">I think what you\u2019d do is:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Put on the gown and fold the sleeves to the length you want and pin them.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Do the same with the hem.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Take the gown off and measure where you pinned to make it nice and even, using pins to hold the fabric in place.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Cut off the fabric below your new lengths.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Sew new hems. You can do this easily by hand.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">You might not even need to do any sewing. Some fabric will fray where it\u2019s cut, and other fabric doesn\u2019t. And it doesn\u2019t have to be totally perfect.
