Part of it is about what we did at convention. I plan to say we didn’t have a meeting, but members who attended had a get-together. Did that happen? I hope so, and I hope you all had fun meeting each other.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Another part is talking about what we achieved last year and what we plan for the upcoming year, and how we’ve connected with the larger NFB.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>I talked with attendees at the Senior Retreat about our group and let them know they can keep crafting even if they’ve become blind. A couple people joined our group after the retreat.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>We’ve had some classes and a knit-along, and we’ve revived our regular chats. More people are engaged in our activities, and people who never taught a class for us before have led classes and are willing to lead more.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Members have also taught me how to host a Zoom meeting and create a recording.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>For the upcoming year, I hope to continue our growth and get more people engaged in making things happen. More classes, continuing the interesting chats Cindy is organizing, and perhaps working on a craft people are interested in but most don’t have much experience with, like sewing.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>I would like to connect more with the larger NFB, but I’m not sure how to do that.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>I welcome ideas. I also welcome ideas for goals for the upcoming year.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Should we have a meeting to talk about our group, or is talking on the listserve sufficient?<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>It was wonderful reading people’s memories of how Joyce helped them know that blindness doesn’t stop people from crafting. That is what our group is for.
