<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">On July 3, most of those who came to convention, got together for dinner!</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I contacted all the people and Maryann Denning, Mary Kindric and her friend Ilene, Jill R and her husband, had dinner, together.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Tanya did not come, but she surprised me, by telling me, Jill had come. I had her contact Jiill for me, and she joined us!</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I met Tannya, briefly by the elevaters, had dinner, again with mary and Ilene and another night, had dinner with Jill and Michael!</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The first get together, we passed the phone around and all said hi to Henry!</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">He was surprised to hear Jills voice!</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">We had fun, but I got sick, when I got home!</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Our NFB national board has decided every group has to submit an annual report. Part of it is about what we did at convention. I plan to say we didnt have a meeting, but members who attended had a get-together.
Did that happen? I hope so, and I hope you all had fun meeting each other.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Another part is talking about what we achieved last year and what we plan for the upcoming year, and how weve connected with the larger NFB.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I talked with attendees at the Senior Retreat about our group and let them know they can keep crafting even if theyve become blind. A couple people joined our group after the retreat.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Weve had some classes and a knit-along, and weve revived our regular chats. More people are engaged in our activities, and people who never taught a class for us before have led classes and are willing
to lead more.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Members have also taught me how to host a Zoom meeting and create a recording.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">For the upcoming year, I hope to continue our growth and get more people engaged in making things happen. More classes, continuing the interesting chats Cindy is organizing, and perhaps working on a craft
people are interested in but most dont have much experience with, like sewing.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I would like to connect more with the larger NFB, but Im not sure how to do that.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I welcome ideas. I also welcome ideas for goals for the upcoming year.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Should we have a meeting to talk about our group, or is talking on the listserve sufficient?</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">It was wonderful reading peoples memories of how Joyce helped them know that blindness doesnt stop people from crafting. That is what our group is for. I think our best way to honor Joyces memory is
to carry on with the work she started and keep growing and improving the group she started.</span></p>
