If the colors are the same, I always do duplicate stitch. I hold the
old and new yarn for about three or four stitches. On the next
round, when I reach the old tail, I'll pick it up and knit a couple
of stitches before dropping it again. For in the round knitting, I
might do this on 3 rows. For flat knitting, definitely 2 rows so the
yarn is locked in, but sometimes 3 rows. I don't cut the ends until
after the first wash. This allows the item to be handled and
stretched so when the ends are cut they shouldn't pop through on the
right side.<br>

a tank top in the round in plain stockinette. Even after
all these years, I\u2019m still not sure the best way to weave in
ends while working in the round. This time, I\u2019m weaving
them in along the vertical lines on the right side. The
weaving shows a bit on the wrong side, but is fine on the
