It has been over 20 years since I made anything with a stretch, knit fabric. I found that using a standard needle did not give good results. The two side lay nicely on each other just ready for a needle and thread. So since I need this done, I thought to make my stitches lose so the fabric will stretch. This material reminds me of bathing suit that stretches all sorts of directions. I will sew on both sides of the sceme. I can’t understand why the threads are there but nothing held together from the manufacturer. I will just do my best and hope it stays together.
