A dot 3 would make it the end of a passage that was italicized. The
beginning of it would be dots 4,6 followed by dots 2,3,5,6.

Subject: [NFB-Braille-Discussion] UEB and italics

Hi All,

Can someone please explain UEB rules around emphasis marks - italics? I
sometimes see a dot 3 after a 4 6, is that an error, is that normal, or does
it vary?
