Let  me try this again.  I hit the “send” button accidentally and sent an incomplete response.

To answer the original question … any way to listen to files in BRF format … here’s my answer.

BRF files are intended to be read on a Braille display.
If you could “listen to BRF’s in audio” … you would need a translator program to read the file, interpret what is encoded in the BRF, and then convert to audio.
Since BRF’s were never (as far as I understand) created to serve this purpose, no such translator program exists.  This is not to say you couldn’t use a BRF for this purpose.
A computer scientist could probably study the BRF format and write such software.  However but BRF’s were not intended to be used this way so I’d be very surprised if such software existed.

I know that doesn’t help you Misty.  I’m just trying to explain why you probably can’t do this.

First, I want to let you know that I am new to computer Braille, so please forgive me if I sound completely ignorant in what I am about to ask.

I have the Orbit Reader 20 Plus and an iPhone 8 with the latest iOS.

I am wondering if there is any way to listen to files in BRF format via audio.  I am just learning UEB and currently am best familiar with Grade 1 so, if something is only available in UEB in a BRF format, I have no good way of reading it at this juncture.

Please help if you can.
