Hi,

Which NLS E Reader are you using?

Manuals can be found on BARD by doing a search and its available in audio and braille.

Subject: [NFB-Braille-Discussion] the NLS reader on a PC

Hi braille nuts ken here. A question I participated in a survey for the buzzr game show channel and their message was blank. My NLS reader couldn’t read it and neither could NVDA or narrator. I looked at the NVDA braille settings and the reader doesn’t show in the choices so for now have left it on automatic default I have set all dots for the kursor review a F.O.R sign like the reader does, I have set input to grade 2 or UEB contracted and output to grade 1 non contracted I don’t understand blink rate and other things. Does anyone here have a primer on the proper settings in NVDA’s braille settings to use the NLS reader as both a display and a keyboard on my computer? I already use the reader pared with my iphone and have it logged onto both newsline and bard so I can now really give this baby a workout Huh?
