Thanks, Carleton. That's a good idea. I didn't know where to get such tiny rubber bands. I use rubber bands for labeling a lot of other things in my home.
Actually, I asked the question at the All About Braille zoom meeting I run for the NFB of Hawaii once a month. And it was continued here.
Have a great weekend.
Debbie

Good morning,
This is the first time I remember seeing this thread, so I apologize if this idea has already been mentioned:

Take thin, small rubber bands (about one-half inch in diameter, avoidable it the hair care aisle, and that are quite inexpensive) and put them on the handles if the measuring spoons like so:

One-quarter teaspoon: 4 rubber bands along the handle

One-half teaspoon: 2 rubber bands along the handle

One teaspoon: 1 rubber band on the handle

One tablespoon: no rubber bands

These rubber bands tend to questions walking, including dishwashing.

This process also works with measuring cups:

One-quarter cup: 4 rubber bands along the handle

One-third cup: 3 rubber bands along the handle

One-half cup: 2 rubber bands along the handle

One cup: 1 rubber band on the handle

Hope these ideas help,
Carlton
