[NFB-Braille-Discussion] FW: NFB of HI All About Braille update

Hi Jen,
I had to cancel because we are still involved in renovating my home for the first time in 40 years and also helping to take care of my 2 year old grandson and going to doctor appointments with my husband who has stage 4 kidney cancer. I didn’t feel that I could be “present” enough at an All About Braille meeting until there was a break in my other commitments. The renovations are going slower than expected, which I understand is par for the course. However, they did find and fix some plumbing and electrical wiring problems that were pretty serious, so that’s good. Hoping that will finish up in a couple weeks so that I can host the All About Braille zoom meeting in October.
Sorry, but originally I didn’t feel like writing all that out when I sent out my notice of cancelling the September meeting. But I hope it explains why I did.
