[NFB-Conventions] For Those Not Going To Convention Learn How To Listen And be Part Of Our Virtual Delegation

Hello To All!
I know this has gone around a bit, but I wanted to remind those who
aren't going to convention who want to hear it being streamed a couple
of things, plus add something that wasn't posted. This will be the
last email that I'll be sending out about this, but the #nfb19 hash
tag on social media will help you know what's going on, too.
1. As you probably know, you can find the nfb's main convention stream at
http://www.nfb.org/livestream
where you can use links for your various media players to hear an
English and Spanish version of what's going on at the board of
director's meeting, general sessions and banquet.
2. 195 The Globe is happily going to be relaying the English stream to
our servers, so people can listen on their smart speakers.
So just ask your smart speaker to play 195 The Globe on Tunein, and it
will play. You can also get the Tunein app for your phone, or...
If you grab the 195 The Globe app from your IOS app store or google
play store, you can listen on your phone, and receive push
notifications when key session events and the banquet speech will
occur. This way if you aren't tuned in, you can get notified when some
key events are happening. The globe will begin coverage about 30
minutes before each session so people can get locked in, and hear an
agenda of the particular session being aired. Which leads to the one
thing Chris Nusbaum didn't share....
3. While the relay is going, let's have a virtual convention
delegation of our own, of those who can't attend.
I'll be up during the relay streams on the globe's zoom channel, so
you can also meet others who might be interested in convention
activities like you.
