[NFB-Conventions] Transportation from airport to hotel in Orlando

I'm wondering, though, how far in advance we need to schedule rides, and how accurately? What if we experience flight delays?
Paratransit may not be the best option.

Kind regards,
Susan

I’m going to be using the Access Lynx service to get there. It’s Orlando’s equivalent of paratransit, and you can request visitor access for the duration of convention (and/or your stay). The trip there and back is only
$4 each, so it’s very affordable, but you would need exact change upon pickup.

All you would need to do is contact your local paratsnsit agency and have them fax verification documents to them at (407) 849-6759. It takes them a few days to process the information, then you can call them at their eligibility office at (407) 423-8747, option 6, to give them your travel dates and the address of the hotel. From there, you just need to reserve your ride at least 24 hours in advance before 5 PM Eastern Time and that’s it.

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,
Andrew Vega
