Hello Convention Goers,
We are just over a week away from NFB24 in Orlando! The NFB of TN has some great things happening at our exhibit hall booth, #D29.
The short version:
We are selling NFB Logo canvas tote bags for $25 and we are collecting canes for You Cane Give Initiative.
Long Version:
When you are hopping around convention, collecting prizes, stocking up on the latest gear in the exhibit hall, and digging up souvenirs to take back home to all your friends and family who didn't get to come to convention, remember the NFB of TN is selling tote bags at #D29 in the exhibit hall for just $25. These aren't your plain-Jane tote bags either. These tote bags are a generous size and are made out of heavy duty canvas. They have side pockets for your cell, phone, water bottle, or whatever you need to stash while you dash around the Rosen Center. Each tote bag has a full zipper closure and handles for slinging it over your shoulder . Additionally, these fantastic tote bags are printed with the NFB logo and website address so you can show the federation love for a long time to come! We will have two trendy options for you to choose from. First, we have a natural beige color with black handles and the logo printed in black. Then we have a solid navy blue option with the logo printed in white.
Grab your NFB Tote Bags at #D29 in the Exhibit Hall! You will want to act fast though because we only have 150 tote bags in each color option.
Packing for convention? Don't forget to pack your unused canes, At #D29 in the exhibit hall, the NFB of TN will be hosting a used cane drive for the You Cane Give Initiative. We will have a box for you to drop your banged up, beaten up, and well-used canes so the You Cane Give Initiative can refurbish them and give them to blind individuals in need of a cane. Maybe your old cane will end up in the hands of a merchant in Kenya, or a child in South Africa. Or maybe it will go to a man like the one we met at a recent event at Vanderbilt University. We had not even found our exhibit table when a gentleman found us and said he needed a cane. He was finally accepting his blindness. This older gentleman broke out in tears as he tried out a cane for the first time.
In the last year we sent canes to Ethiopia, Columbia, Liberia, and many other countries around the world where the price of a cane can be equal to the price of a year's rent . If you have canes, old and new, beaten up and pristine, we have a use for it! You can find out more about us at www.youcanegive.org<http://www.youcanegive.org>.
We'll see you soon, at #NFB24 and #D29!
Sincerely,
NFB of TN
