Complete Announcement for the 2025 National Federation of the Blind of Nevada State Convention
Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27, 2025
The 2025 State Convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Nevada will be held at:
Palace Station Hotel Casino
2411 W Sahara Ave.
Las Vegas, NV 89102
Note: The agenda will be finalized, distributed, and posted on the state website in late March to early April. Yes, the agenda will be available on NFB-NEWSLINE(r) too!
Here is your chance to participate and learn more about the NFB's programs and goals on the state and national level. Hear from the NFB national representative. Also, hear from speakers on topics of national and state importance, membership, seniors, technology, Braille, students, guide dog users, and parents' concerns, meet the scholarship class of 2025 and much more!

Room Reservations
The Palace Station Hotel & Casino is now accepting room reservations for the State Convention. To make your reservation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, dial (702) 367-2411 and state that you are attending the National Federation of the Blind of Nevada convention. Use the Code pcinfb.
The best time to call is during regular business hours, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The 2025 room rate is $145 a night for up to four occupants in a room per night. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes along with hotel occupancy and resort fees, which will be in effect at the time of check-out.
For those considering arriving early, there is a limited number of available guest rooms as another group will be occupying most of the hotel on Thursday, April 24. The Hotel will be releasing our block of rooms on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 5 PM so make your reservation quickly. You will need a credit card to secure your reservation, There will be no charge to your card until you arrive at the hotel. In addition, there are a limited number of wheelchair accessible rooms and if needed, make it known when you are making your room reservation.
Note: If you can not attend and you have made hotel reservations, don't call the hotel to cancel. Please call Mark Tadder at 775-225-6881. Mark usually has a waiting list to review as many learn about the State Convention after Friday, April 4.
Registration
Registration for the 2025 NFB of Nevada State Convention is now open!
All convention attendees who use the online registration form will benefit from lower registration and lower meal costs. It is to your advantage to prepay for both registration and meals. Registration and payment submission must be completed by April 15, 2025. You can obtain assistance with online registration by calling Mark Tadder at 775-225-6881.
