Greetings:
The Committee on Accessibility and User Innovation has been established to
provide perspectives and recommendations to the President and professional
staff of the National Federation of the Blind on strategic technology
matters and the coordination of Federation technology efforts to maximize
their effectiveness for all blind people. For this committee to make the
best recommendations we can to the President, we really need to hear from
you!
Please come to our listening session and tell us what has or hasn't worked
for you with technology. What kind of support did you get when this or that
piece of technology didn't work right? Was the cost of your technology too
high? Were you able to get the training you needed to learn how to use your
technology or did you have to teach yourself? Does technology make you feel
happy, frustrated, angry, or sad?
Our listening session will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8 in Room
201. Please come.
Please send email to chong.curtis at gmail.com <mailto:chong.curtis at gmail.com>
or call 515-306-1654 with any questions.
Sincerely,
Curtis Chong
