april,
I think that Helen Keller center says that if a person has any hearing impairment that interferres with their ability to do tasks like independent living skills; like cooking or cleaning of your home. Like traveling independently from point A to point B. Like communicating or using technology then you have a qualified hearing loss or impairemnt. I remember you mentioned in a previous message, that you have a hard time understanding spoke words sometimes, perhaps you should have two hearing aids, or have both ears tested for a loss.

Hop eyou feel better and things will start to work out..

I do wear one hearing aid,and need to have it tuned in a few months. I may need another, though it's tough to pay the price when I rarely go out. I will look look for more. I did email one of the local state NFB representatives. Afraid my email last week or so may have become lost. I need to re-check and possibly resend?
