I used the Pocket Talker before I got my CI. I really liked it. Without
the CI, I don't think it was enough. With it, I'm sure it is.

Hi,

I personally prefer either the pocket talker which comes with headphones and
a fifteen feet cord with microphone. The pocket talker is good for a small
round table discussion or one on one. The pocket talker is not wireless.
There is also a fm system. This is wireless. The speaker wear the
transmitter with microphone and the listener wear the receiver with
headphones. This is what NFB uses during convention. I have used it during
my classes when I was in college. Today technology allows the neckloop that
you mention to be used in place of the headphones. I hope this help. Did you
enjoy the Washington Seminar?
