Hi Danielle and Willa,
Congratulations!  That is awesome.  I did not realize you were going to 
get a guide dog.

I am in the process of retiring my first guide dog due to seizure from 
GDF and will soon have another guide dog.  Because I am Deaf-Blind and 
have balance issues along with other medical conditions; they had a hard 
time find dogs to match for me.

I wish you all the success.  Willa sounds wonderful.  Dogs are so 
intuitive.  If I am not well.  Destiny will comfort me and be extra 
attentive.

I do not usually post much on the NAGDU list.  I have a hard time 
keeping up with just reading the post, let alone answering them. This 
especially true since I am on several other Deaf-Blind email lists.

I wish I could see you at convention this year with your new guide but 
due to health reasons. I will likely not attend.

Marion Gwizdala, the president of NAGDU is very considerate of the 
DEAF-Blind.  whenever I attended the NAGDU meetings, he wore my FM 
microphone and they would pass it around when we had introductions.

Also, NAGDU has months conference calls, Shannon and her email is 
solsticesinger at gmail.com  She does captioning for the Deaf-Blind for 
guide dog Conference calls.
