I loved turning 50, and my 50s were really good, productive years, especially as I had just started acknowledging my deaf-blindness. I found a lot of those doors you've mentioned. So enjoy! Just don't ask me about turning 60, okay? :)

I[I'm already making plans for the second half century. I've had so many
doors opened for me because of these DB groups. I've learned a lot and I'm
a fulle person, with confidence. Everone saw that at my party onj Saturday.

Hot Boogies, Hallo Shadow Wolf. Welcome to NFB DB. My birthday was this
past Saturday. We had a party and it was fun. I can't say I heard too much
of the conversation, but I was bubbly, funny and full of olife, so nobody
seemed to notice.
I didn't accept the term deaf-blind either for a long time and I told a
supervisor at HKNC that. She said a lot of people feel that way. I've come
to realize, its just easier to say deaf-blind, then hearing and visually
impaired.

Nice to see you again.
Trish

Hi Janice,
Thank you for the welcome. Nice to see that you're in this group as well.
Hope everything's good with you. Also I sent you an email a few days ago
regarding a latest article that might interests you. From our previous
discussion in another group.

Take care.
