Marsha,
You cannot sit there and expect me to know what you already know. That's 
not being rational. I never knew you were a part of any SSP programs 
until now. When I met you at HKNC, I quickly realized that you have a 
very difficult time hearing me. I don't have a loud boastful voice like 
Joe A. (San Diego). Plus you did not know ASL/TSL either. So therefore, 
I could not communicate with you effectively while I was still there. 
That led us to not know each other very well.   Also, I wasn't "Hoping" 
to provide you any information. My comment was either take it or leave 
it. I do not deserve a hostile response from you because you already 
knew something. And there was nothing wrong with my tone. You seem to 
project a lot negative emotion towards me and maybe some other male DBs. 
Professional or not, it doesn't matter how long one has been here. I 
have learned so much about SSPs, programs and the DB community in such a 
rather short time. Not too many people can play catch up that quick. I 
can easily become a member of my local committee if I wanted to. As 
Darlene quoted: "Hostile behavior" will not get you anywhere. Don't 
criticize someone for trying to provide info, ideas, suggestions, etc. 
Just because you already know them. That person (like myself) may not 
know you very well.
