Hi Jennifer,
You could still work with deaf kids, you'd just need an interpreter or SSP, same as if you work with hearing people.
Have you located your nearest CIL— Center for Independent Living? It's a cross-disability organization working to advacate for fellow PWD, and to provide training. All CILS employ at least 51% people with disabilities and are a great resource. You may want to get in touch with the people at the Lighthouse in San Fransisco, which I know is in NoCal, but they may have some knowledge of the deafblind community in your area.
Good luck!

I had so many professionals make a difference in my lifer and advocate for me, I want to be able to give back and do the same for other people Especially kids or older people who possibly can’t advocate for themselves.
