Good evening, everyone, let me just state a simple fact here it is not normal for one to need to hire assistants to manage one’s own diabetes, I am deaf blind and I do manage my own diabetes. I think this division is good for dealing with the deaf blindness, I would urge you to talk to the diabetes action network to get more information about how a blind person regardless of one’s hearing can manage one’s own diabetes. However I must say that I am type II, I don’t know how managing it is as a type I diabetic but I do know plenty of people who have type I who are blind and doing just fine. If anyone wishes me to pass a message on to the president of the diabetes action network I can do that, all of the best to everyone on the list, and I hope that my brief comments are helpful.
