[NFB-DB] New look of nfbdeaf-blind.org is now live!

The current board is listed on the Board of Directors page with their email addresses. Somewhere down the road, if obtained, I would have no issue adding pages for bios of the board.

No other NFB site that I am aware of posts their meeting minutes on their website.

National is working on a new registration platform, which will become available by early next year. Once it is ready, it will be sent to all state affiliates and national divisions to use on their Drupal powered sites. This can be used for membership forms, convention registration forms, etc. and it will accept payment using a credit or debit card through PayPal. The information submitted through the form will be sent to the NFB Connections database through an API key, which I will obtain from Rachel Olivero.

I will soon be obtaining the 2018 convention presentation files. Once obtained, they will be posted to the site.

I do see what others are saying, it's a generic NFB page. That said, it's a starting point. It would be good if there was a way to pay dues online instead of by check to start with. Maybe put up meeting minutes, especially for the things that happened at convention, and what about posting names and bios of the current board? I think these could be good starting proints and also give the general membership more of an idea of what's happening. There was a meeting in Orlando in July: what happened? There were things voted on to amend the constituition, shouldn't that be public info? I'm not trying to pick on anyone here, I'm just offering ideas of things that Iink would be good to have on the website to help keep people informed. If there is enough activity, you may find that more people will desire to join and get involved. This email is not intended to offend anyone, I do apologize if it came off that way. I'm just trying to help.
