Sprint IP-Relay is a free service that does not require you to have Sprint wireless service. For example, I've used it on Verizon in the past and I know several people using it on att.
Gene: Jerry no longer works with ICC, but has taken a higher position at Perkins, so he's not the correct one to contact. Moly should know who to contact, but if you hear nothing from her, Heather, I'd recommend contacting Marcia Brooks. Marcia Brooks is still with Perkins and should be able to assist you if no one from the Mision Road Development Center or Moly can. I think that's who's on the ground there anyway.

Hi,
I do not think Molly is over the ICC program in TX.  She works for HKNC.  ICC is an FCC program and while it has ties to HKNC, I do not believe the area reps have any kind of powers of oversight in the program.  She may be albe to tell you where to go to find someone who does, however.
Also, have you signed up for sprint ip relay?  Its a relay service that you connect to via an app on the iPhone or the web and allows DB people to read what is being spoken to them over the phone in braille and to type back their answers.  It's free and may be helpful.

Have you heard of Gay Bellomy?
I believe she is the actual director for the I can’t connect division in San Antonio, I’m not sure how to reach her, but maybe that might give you a start.
If she can’t help you, then it might be a better idea to go to the head person, his name is Jerry barrier and he is with the Perkins school for the blind in Massachusetts, try to reach Gay Bellomy and if you can’t get her to respond or help you, let me know and I will give you Jerry’s email.

Second, I told my assessment coordinator what I need and they do not even ask the regional director at I can connect  to see if they will approve of the items. The item they want to get me limits me and is way expensive but, if they listened to me, they could save a few thousand dollars!  I made sure I did the math and the justification. It would be actually great to have this item but, I feel the two items I requested would fit my needs for a longer period of time and actually work better with my mainstream technology. IS that not the goal of the program or what? Thanks Heather
