[NFB-DB] Day 3

Hi Chris.
I would do what Gene suggested. Alternatively, you can turn on audio ducking so that VoiceOver will talk louder than Zoom. You can even use the 2 features in conjunction with each other if you feel that audio ducking makes VoiceOver's speech too loud. You can find this setting under Setts/Accessibility/VoiceOver/audio. Those are the best options I can think of. That said, someone may know of another solution I do not, as I am not a regular speech user. I wish my speech would never turn itself on actually. ☺️
Perhaps it would be worth considering for the NFB-DB group to create a guide to Zoom for speech and braille users. There are a lot of resources out there, but they're not free or have a lot of information people may not need.

I hope this heps,
Scott

I could not here well enough to find raise my hand because the volume of vo was to low while the audio was way to high prevent me from hearing vo on the screen. So is there away to change this? Because I saw a lot of chat I could not have access to. Thanks Heather

That is one positive of having the convention virtually for me (multiple devices, Braille displays, and sessions!) If you find that a session does not have captioning for whatever reason, please let me know. I have a list of volunteer captioners ready to help!
