Hi Robert, Stuart here.
I'm very sorry to hear about the infection you contracted while at the
NFB conference! I hope that you will get better soon!
For Maurice, I don't know if the intent of your wording was to reach
out to anyone who had foregone membership in light of last month's
discussion. If it was, please let NFB-DB be inclusive for all
DeafBlind of any capacity and capability. For me, declaring from day
one NFB-DB would have to be exclusive to endow only those of specific
capacity and capability with full rights was a complete non-starter to
put any financial backing up. I've received no information as yet that
has changed or even been duly considered for change.

And I would like your help to make certain that this division truly helps deaf blind people live the lives they want. So in this vein I would like to ask you to email me your suggestions and ideas for what we can do to gather in nature. I’m especially looking for people who weren’t able to attend our recent national convention.

I would very much appreciate it if you have things to say to me that you not write your text before 9 AM Eastern time, and no later than 11 PM Eastern time. The only exception to this is if you have an extreme emergency that the division can assist you with.

I will write information on our first public meeting which will probably occur sometime during the month of August or Labor Day at the extreme latest. This meeting will be over zoom. Of course as the time and date of the meeting grows closer we will discuss the interpreting arrangements. Just remember that we will put in a 15 day lead time please let me know what type of interpreting you will need to participate in the meeting.
