That’s wonderful!!

I too did structured discovery O & M training and was lucky to have an instructor support my hearing issues (I was a relatively  new cochlear implant user) and had a lot of work to do to successfully figure out how to use my auditory cues for cane travel. 

I also supplemented my O & M at Helen Keller National Center and liked getting more tools for the toolbox in relation to deafblind travel.  I had the chance to work with Leader Dogs at the center. Highly recommend!
