President Mines of the DeafBlind Division requested that I pass along this
reminder concerning our upcoming meeting, requests for accommodations, and
dues link for those who wish to pay 2024 division dues. Sara Coleman,
Treasurer DB Division.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm writing to remind everyone that if you need
accommodations for our next public meeting which is currently scheduled to
be held at 6 PM Eastern daylight time on April 6 2024. To please send me
your accommodations request. These requests are due no later than 5 PM
Pacific, 8 PM Eastern time Friday, March 29.

There are two additional things I want to let everyone know about. If you
request accommodations please make sure you can attend. We spent $620 on
accommodations in our last meeting period. We want to make sure that these
accommodations are being used since they do cost money.

I also wanted to let everyone know that Doula is stepping away from her
secretarial duties for an extended period of time due to her current health
situation. That means that Jesse Kramer Will continue in the secretaries
position until Darla gets better, or the national convention, whichever
comes first. Kramer will become list administrator for now.

I also would like to give everyone a heads up that our website will be
moving soon. I will announce the new URL sometime next week when our
national office lets me know what that address is.

Finally if you have suggestions for what I should put on the agenda for our
annual meeting on July 5 2024 now would be a great time to email me those
suggestions. Please mind that I've already invited humanware, andHims to
come and talk about their braille products. I am considering asking someone
from Helen Keller to come and talk about several things with us in Orlando.
I should also let everyone know that at that same meeting in July the four
board positions will be up for election at that time period we will discuss
all of these logistical things regarding the meeting later in the spring.
Please email me suggestions about what should be covered in our annual
meeting and if I can get it arranged then hopefully your suggestion will
make the agenda. We only have four hours to do this in Orlando so we need
to make the best use of our time.

Please note, if you're not already part of the division, meaning a member
here again is the link to join the division and become a paid member of the
division that means you will get the right to vote. All of our meetings.
