Good afternoon deaf blind division members and friends. I am formally announcing our next public meeting date and time, and zoom connection information. I am also putting out the formal call for Accommodations request that meeting.

The deadline for requesting accommodations for the next public meeting is by 8 PM eastern on election day November 5, 2024.

If you need accommodations your email to me must include the following information. What kind of accommodation are you requesting? An affirmation that you will attend the meeting and thus use the accommodation. If you are requesting captioning, the thing provisions apply. But you must clearly state that you're asking for captioning. If you request is for sign language interpretation, please clearly state that that's what you are requesting. Just as a reminder if you are wishing to have a vote at this meeting you need to be a paid member of the division. Our treasurer can post information about how you can do that before the accommodations cut off date. If you have questions regarding this meeting please feel free to write me. I will be posting a final agenda for the meeting no later than election day November 5, 2024. The meeting is scheduled for November 16 2024 from 6 to 8 PM Eastern standard time.

Just a agenda notice for everyone to consider, the entire meeting will be taken up with deaf blind leadership now. A full discussion of this entire issue. So that everyone understands where we are as a division, and an entire organization.

Here are the start times by time zone. Again please keep in mind this is standard time.

Please note all start times are 15 minutes before the meeting begins, this is to allow time for Zoom set up. This is also time to allow the interpreters to make sure that that they can communicate with the people they are interpreting for. After this 15 minutes set up timeframe the meeting will start promptly at 6 PM eastern Time. Please don't start times are standard time since we will be in standard time in November.

Start times by time zone.
5:45 PM Eastern standard time.
445 Central standard time.
3:45 PM Mountain standard time.
245 p.m. Pacific standard time.
5 AM1145 a.m. Hawaii standard time.

I would like to take a moment to publicly thank Tiffany, Veronica and Tara, for being the zoom meeting in administrative committee. I'm sure they will do an excellent job on 16 November. Now here is the Zoom details for the meeting.
