[NFB-DB] reminders

Dicapta developed an app called GoCC4All. It connected directly to FEMA and local weather. It would send alerts that could be visually read on  your phone or via braille.  However, the grant ran out of money to keep it constantly updated. If you have any ideas for money to update it, I'm sure the two developers, Maria Victoria and Olga, would love to hear them.  The app even used to have closed captioning for several tv shows that could be read visually or in braille. The app can still be downloaded but it no longer connects.

Greetings to My DeafBlind Colleagues,

     Resolutions. If you have ideas for resolutions regarding DeafBlind issues, please get them to me by May 1st.  Maurice is wanting to know people's thoughts on a resolution dealing with accessible weather alerts.

     Next reminder, if you are planning to attend National Convention, make sure you register quite the convention.  Also make sure you get your interpreter requests submitted.  Also, if you will need a SSP during the Convention, make sure you also get that request submitted.

     And lastly, I want to remind everyone that our next meeting will be on June 7th.
