Hi Scott,

My understanding is that dues are annual, so from January to December. Also my understanding is if you paid dues close enough to the end of last year, that that counts for 2025. If you paid your dues in November, this is the first I’m hearing about it. Unfortunately at this time there is no connection between the dues paying system and the membership portal. As secretary, I have to mark people as current once I know you have paid your dues. Or in the case of someone who isn’t already part of our membership list in the portal, I have to fill out a new membership form to get them added to the list. I believe at some point this process will be automated, but for the moment, if people want their membership to count, they need to report it to either Sara or me. Thanks for asking for the clarification, hopefully this helps everyone understand the process a little better.

Warmly,

Doula

Thank you Doula! I have been on the correct side of the paywall for accommodations since after the last meeting. Am I supposed to pay again for 2025? I was going to reach out to Sarah about this, but this may be a question other members have, so I thought I'd ask on list. In the future, are requests for transcripts to be included in this policy?

I was not sure, since it is something that would only be available after the meeting.

Thank you for any clarification,

Scott

Hi Scott,

If you have paid dues for this year, you need to let me know that. Otherwise without current dues paid your membershowp is not valid and thus you wouldn’t qualify for accommodations. I’d like to remind everyone else if you have paid your annual dues for 2025 you need to let me know so I can mark you as current. If you have already notified me, thanks for doing so.

Warmly,

Doula

HI Maurice.

As a paying member, I am asking for the transcript after the meeting ends, as I am not able to attend. I’m asking if this is something that needs to be requested on list in case others may have the same request.

Thanks,

Scott

If you wish either captioning, or interpretation at next Saturday's public meeting? You need to write me with the following things addressed in your email.

One the date that the meeting is taking place which of course since Saturday the 18th. Two what kind of accommodation do you need written out. Three if you're staying for the entire two hour meeting please say that in writing. Four simply telling me you understand what the meeting policies is, and you understand that policy. Five you need to somehow provide proof that you are indeed a paid member of the division.

The email must be in my email box before 9 PM Pacific tomorrow or midnight Eastern time tomorrow I will turn in request for accommodations Tuesday morning bright and early. Likely to be just around 9 AM Eastern time on Tuesday. Here's hoping that I am able to see most of you on that call next Saturday evening period
