[NFB-DB] Reminder for DeafBlind Division Meeting

Happy B.E.A.M (Blind Equality Achievement Month)

DeafBlind Division,

I am writing to inform all of you that the NFB DeafBlind Division will hold
its next public board meet the evening of Wednesday, October 8th at 8 PM
Eastern, 7 PM Central, 6 PM Mountain, and 5 PM Pacific Time.

The agenda is in the process of being finalized, and it will be sent out,
along with the connection information within the next several days. Here is
a general overview of the agenda:

   - Discussion of the new Strategic Plan for the division.
   - Feedback on the most recent National Convention
   - Discussion of fundraising initiatives for the upcoming year.
   - Discussion of the future of the Support Service Program and what it
   should look like going forward.
   - Any other business raised by either the board or the membership.

I would like to emphasize that while official votes will be taken by board
members, the meeting will be open for all members to give their feedback.

If you require any specific accommodations for the meeting, please let me
know as soon as possible.  President of the DeafBlind Division, Rocky Hart
plans to request interpreting and captioning services later this week.
Board members wish to ensure that you are able to fully participation in
division activities, please let us know what accommodations we can make to
fit your needs.

I Jessie Kramer and Sara Coleman are on the membership committee. If you
are not on the division roster, please contact myself or Sara to update our
records.
