My client has Ushers, and is rapidly losing his vision. He currently is able to read large print. He's concerned about his future as a teacher, and wants to learn about any tools or techniques that could help him. If you or someone you know can help, you're welcome to email me off list if you'd like to remain private. My email is braillemasterjustin at gmail.com. We have onsite, supervised independent homeschoolers, and supervised online students. I now teach the online students some of whom are special needs, some regular students, and gifted students. I use live transcription with and without braille depending on my daily vision level. I do one on one direct teaching using videoconferencing software similar to Zoom. Chat helps if my student has voice issues, but Live Transcription works well. I use multiple cameras to help my students see what I am showing them. Technology helps get the job done.
