DB or hearing impaired. I do think it is all a preference on our part of what we
call ourselves. I am considered by my state to be DB, because I have a 50percent
loss in my left ear, and a 60percent in the right ear. In noisy places is the hardest
for me. If I am having a conversation with someone and I am eating, I can’t
hear them. If I am having a conversation with someone and there is only one other
noise source, I can’t hear them. Speech of other people is the hardest for
me to hear by far. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

happy to see activity on here! I’m Gerardo from Mexico and (here’s
my question) don’t know if I’m considered deafblind or not because
though I’m blind from birth, I have 70% hearing loss for which I wear hearing
aids. In loud places I have trouble hearing even when I turn down the hearing
aid volume; also when there’s an air conditioner or other loud noises, I
have to sit near the speaker to be able to hear. Also in churches and other
venues where there’s echo I have trouble hearing. So are these criteria
for defining deafblind?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Orleans in 2006. There was a great deal of mold in the city and upon my

my guide/hearing/mobility assistance dog and an in-home hearing and mobility
dog Mill'E.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
