ON Wednesday, August 13 in as part of a lawsuit filed by the NFB I will testify in a Maryland State Court House about how the current voting accommodations for the Deaf-Blind do not allow us to vote PRIVATELY AND INDEPENDENTLY.<br>

The NFB has developed and accessible absentee ballot that can be done in your home using the adaptive technology that you is best suited to you to complete the ballot.<br>
<br>
However, two individuals on the Maryland Board of Elections do not want this accessible ballot because of concerns for security and increased voter fraud.<br>
<br>
But there is not indication the the accessible absentee ballot has a higher security risk than the online absentee ballot that sighted individuals complete.<br>
