    Hi Scott,<br>
    I had posted the resolutions that I had worked on and that went
    before the general assembly.  It is true that their needs to be more
    follow-up.  I am working on a Resolution for the Maryland Affiliate
    State Convention in November.  I hope that my health holds out for
    me to do it. though.<br>

      <div>Scott Labar caknoledged the need for a DB devision in
        Colorado and said that the DB are underserved during the general
        session after I spoke. There were 14 of us at the DB gathering
        after general session, 9 of us were DB. So some state presidents
        do see the need, it's just a matter of getting stuff together.</div>
      <div>As for the national DB Devision, one issue I've noticed is
        lack of communication with DB devision members. For example,
        during both the 2013 and 2014 national conventions, there were
        resolutions the DB devision "jed hard to pass, but nothing of
        this effort was ever mentioned on this mailing list. I would
        have gladly lended my support, but I had no idea what was
        happening. I think part of what needs to happen is that the
        officers moving forward with actions need to be more public
        about these actions which will also encourage more people to get
        involved.</div>

            <div>Yes this is a very very good point. Just like with
              other organizations who are not as open as they should be,
              NFB DB should have that openness. we should be visible.
              Many of the other divisions, or groups or affiliates have
              facebook pages, or twitter accounts, or other social media
              outlets. So should the NFB DB division. </div>
            <div>This will be a major gola of our affiliate division
              once the constitution is approved. </div>
            <div>Having a social media view, would possibly bring people
              into the organization, would help everyone know what the
              organization is doing, and keep everyone on the same
              page. </div>
            <div>What does everyone else think? I will do what I can to
              help. </div>
            <div>My time is limited as I am back in school, but winter
              break is coming up. </div>

                          publicize the website, etc. This is just my
                          opinion, but I do not think many of us are
                          aware of what is happening within the national
                          DB devision. If members do not know, how can
                          that help with any sort of effort regarding DB
                          issues? I'm not trying to criticize  the
                          leadership with this email at all, so I hope
                          this message is not taken that way, I'm just
                          offering input and suggesttions.</div>
