According to Denise our chapter President is looking for volunteers to Caption the meeting via the chat box. The affiliate has not offered to pay for the CART to caption meetings. This is already a very difficult situation. I have not been able to attend a single chapter meeting with accessibility since they started meeting virtually due to lack of access. My question is, and maybe this is something the DeafBlind division should be addressing, WHY doesn't Zoom offer captioning through the platform itself? If other online platforms such as YouTube and Hulu and Netflix can Caption and provide descriptive video why can't Zoom? I think it is time to bring this matter up to the division. Something needs to be done.

Maurice, I would be delighted to have you assist in attempting to educate Kaye Baker.
