I have been using BrailleBack for a number of years, and it has slowly improved. Right now sometimes staying connected is an issue, and there are still times when it’s using a letter contraction even though that letter is part of a word. I switched from using IOS to Android back in 2016 because I got tired of the issues of keeping multiple Bluetooth devices connected. And overall I’ve been much happier with Android. Currently, users need to download the separate BrailleBack app, which has received limited updates and lacks support for many modern displays.<br>Jaber went on to demonstrate using a braille display to send a message using GMail, including typing and editing commands. Braille support is also tied in to the existing braille keyboard input method, which allows for typing using braille on the touch screen.
