President Don Galloway, National Federation of the Blind, Washington, DC
Affiliate, cordially invites you to our annual State convention on October 7
& October 8, 2011 at The Channel Inn, 650 Water Street, Southwest,
Washington, DC  20024.  The Channel Inn is located downtown near the wharf,
and the Waterfront Metro Station is the easiest subway stop for accessing
the place,  approximately three blocks in walking distance.  

On Friday, October 7, the day begins with events for those 18 years and
younger as follows:  10:00 AM, Seminars, and 12 noon, luncheon.  

Then the remainder of the convention for those ages above 18 years old is as
follows:  Friday, October 7 at 6:00 PM, Auction, and 7:30 PM, The Showcase
of Stars.  You are welcome to participate in this showcase, just be
prepared.  Then on the second day, Saturday, October 8 at 9:00 AM, Seminars,
12 Noon, Luncheon, 2:00 PM, Seminars, and 5:00 PM, Adjournment.

Refreshments served daily, and door prizes for registered participants.
