Hello Everyone,

I am so excited be organizing the VI division again! I want to share
an updated listed of those who have contacted me and said 'Yes' to
participating in the Cherry Creek Sneak. Those with a question mark
are those who have not given me a positive confirmation. Please
contact me if you are denoted with a question mark and let me know
your participation status. Please forward this email to others who may
be interested in participating.

Again, The first 25 people who register through me are guaranteed race
registration fees covered by Lending Sight-USABA. I am hoping for
field of 50 visually impaired athletes this year of all ages and
abilities. I will most likely have funding for all participants in
exchange for providing USABA running clinics.

It is possible to have a field of VI participation this large in the
Cherry Creek Sneak. This movement is coinciding with the recently
announced news from the U.S. Education Department.

Breaking new ground, the U.S. Education Department is telling schools
Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, they must include students with disabilities in
sports programs or provide equal alternative options. The directive,
reminiscent of the Title IX expansion of athletic opportunities for
women, could bring sweeping changes to school budgets and locker rooms
for years to come.
